Rebekah:
Native to Waco, Rebekah joined the Waco Winery team in the Spring of 2015 as the Tasting Room Manager. After meeting the owner, Jerry, they soon developed a close-knit working relationship that rapidly evolved into a working-family relationship. At that time the tasting room was located at the vineyard about 15 minutes outside Waco, but in October of 2017 she helped relocate the tasting room downtown where they currently reside today. Her vision was to create an atmosphere that would bring not only wine culture but also the local arts and music scene to the Waco community. Rebekah has embedded herself into the downtown community and continues to provide a thriving culture within the Tasting Room walls.
In December of 2017 Rebekah was diagnosed with cancer, and the whole community that she worked so hard to create in turn came together to support her through her journey to recovery. Rebekah is now currently in remission, and is proud to say she is a cancer survivor.
You will most likely find Rebekah at the downtown tasting room sharing her vast knowledge of wine and all things to do with Waco culture. With her warmth and loving spirit she will make your visit to Waco Winery Tasting Room and Rooftop Patio a memorable experience.
